Hello
I love the Anthurium Volcano Plant. Does it flower all year long? Also can it be transport to Canada without damaging it? It beautiful, but look fragile as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you kindly

Annie Thornton I think that as long as you keep the plant in bright, indirect light and continue to water it, the flowers are supposed to last weeks to maybe months. The same flower won't remain year-round, but I think that you will get new buds. As far as transporting the plant, be gentle and make sure to keep the plant watered. It looks fragile, and I'm sure it is, but I think that it is also a pretty low maintenance plant overall. For more information, you should consult a local nursery.
kimosaby Thank you very much for your information on the Anthurium Volcano Plant. I will definitely check local nurseries, but I doubt I can find it in Canada. If not I will try some nurseries in the states for availability and transporting information.
Thanks again for your information, it was very helpful.
Tropical plants are a must. Try a mixture of tabletop and floor plants. Take note of how much light they'll need.Sources:• VivaTerra has a few tropical options, like this one.• Armstrong Garden Center carries one of my favorite large plants, the fiddle leaf fig tree.• Check your local garden center, nursery or even Ikea for other tropical plants and get the opinion of an expert.
What a cool plant! I have always loved Anthurium but this is a totally unique way to present it. I like how it brings the plant back to its volcanic Hawaiian roots.
