Annie Thornton I think that as long as you keep the plant in bright, indirect light and continue to water it, the flowers are supposed to last weeks to maybe months. The same flower won't remain year-round, but I think that you will get new buds. As far as transporting the plant, be gentle and make sure to keep the plant watered. It looks fragile, and I'm sure it is, but I think that it is also a pretty low maintenance plant overall. For more information, you should consult a local nursery.

kimosaby Thank you very much for your information on the Anthurium Volcano Plant. I will definitely check local nurseries, but I doubt I can find it in Canada. If not I will try some nurseries in the states for availability and transporting information.
