  • Offered here is an ornate antique Victorian bronze or brass doorknob, featuring gorgeous aesthetic era motifs.
The smoothed and rounded edges of this weighty knob are filled with designs within raised lines; a rondelle in the center boasts a delicate blossom surrounded by organic lines, engraved intertwined foliate vines flourish. On the back side, incised scrolling bands and trumpeting shapes are a purely aesthetic achievement - fastidious about every detail. Very nice verdigris on the brass. Both knobs have a lovely smoothed surface, worn more in certain places where grasped, with a lovely patina. Has stem with holes to secure, one knob comes off stem in order to install. Wonderful appearance, will enrich the doors of any home.
