Anne DeCocco It really is a mix. Sometimes the designer who posts the picture answers questions about it--we all love that because we get the exact resource. But often that's not the case. I don't know if Stonewood ever answers questions, but his pictures are fantastic. Houzz has a panel of experts and many wonderful readers who answer questions with their own ideas and sources. Anne DeCocco Top down, bottom up shades are great because you can pull just the top down for privacy, but still see the sky and get the light. Silhouettes (spelling), from Hunter Douglas I think, are nice because you can get a filtered, sheer look if that's all you need.
