Eleven Interiors You can find many knock offs of this Noguchi glass coffee table, but I know that Design Within Reach has the licensed original version.
Michael Ferzoco Hello - The pillows were made by a local tailor from fabric we brought to him. The grey/cream velvet pillows are box shaped with a corded welt and hidden zipper to allow for dry cleaning. The silk bronze/gold/grey pillows are knife edged with a welt and hidden zipper as well.
How do we decide the length of window treatments on long windows? - Our five windows in the living room are 63" long and 35" wide. The bottom casing is 36" from the floor with 36" from the top casing to the ceiling. Tradition draperies are too short according to the 1/4" break rule, but going all the way to the floor seems like a lot of drapery.
Our wall color is a butter cream yellow with moss green and plum upholstery in a contemporary setting. We like color. Can you suggest possibilities of drapery colors and length to complete our room's look? Thanks. Katie »
Eleven Interiors Oops! Sorry to join the conversation so late!! I agree with JMittman above....and if you don't have the 108" in ceiling height (in any other room), then bring the drapery panels to a tailor and ask them to shorten the drapes to the length you need. I ask my installers to hang drapery about 1/4" from the floor because over time the weave of the fabric will loosen a bit and the drapes will have a little extra room to touch the floor. As for drapery color, I'd bring in a neutral (a tone up or down from the buttercream wall color perhaps) for the main body of the drapery and then band the bottom (18" - 24"), or a side (vertical, entire length of drapery, maybe 12" wide) with a color that works with your version of moss green and plum upholstery.
Eleven Interiors Yes, the window treatments (including the upholstered cornice boards) were custom made using cream cotton/linen and grey cotton/silk fabrics to create the vertical "stripe".
Michael Ferzoco My apologies for this very, very late response! This sectional was custom made for this space by our upholsterer. The client needed wanted it extra deep!
Anne DeCocco At first I was going to suggest that the wall color is Sherwin's Alabaster/7008, but then when I looked at the side wall, I thought it might be Extra White/7006.
Anyone interested in any of the items shown (sectional sofa, coffee table, end tables, lamp) including the rug can be reproduced at a very low cost.....can contact Hammad Ali at....00923008886667, great quality and the price would be guaranteed. »
Floor lamp. Have you checked out lamps lately? There are styles aplenty, way beyond your everyday table lamp. The right lighting in any room is extremely important; if you feels yours could use an upgrade, look for a new lamp or fixture that is as stylish as it is functional.
Consider facing a chair across from the internal corner of the sectional. Draw imaginary lines from the sectional’s arms; where they meet is ideally where you should place the chair, as if it’s completing an invisible square. This sectional itself supplies plenty of seating; the one opposing seat rounds out the space for optimal conversation.
To add drama to a space think big! Oversized pieces work hard to create a high end look. Here the lamp lifts an otherwise quite ordinary scheme into the extraordinary.
