Where can I find those French Door locks? - Dear Sir or Madam:
Where can I find french door locks like those? I have been searching high and low, but have been extremely unsuccessful. The ones in the picture seem to be the type that I have been searching for. Would you be able to tell me: if there is a top and bottom lock? Where can I buy one like that? Also, is the other door having a dummy lock? Where I may be able to purchase them? »
Supa Doors I saw an article written about this house, and believe it mentioned that it is a Supa Door. The doors are built to order and are can include clear or frosted glass in leiu of panels. I have attached a drawing of a paneled door that would match, though everything is customizable at no extra cost. Kudos again to Risher Martin Fine Homes on a beautiful home.
RisherMartin Fine Homes That table was bought years ago, so I don't know where it was initially purchased. It is lovely though, I hope you can find a similar one that will do the trick!
The main entry is the middle set of doors. Risher calls this house a shotgun house because this central hallway lines up with the back door. (The original meaning of "shotgun house" meant one could shoot a bullet through the front door and out the back door.) The entry feels very open because of several features — the glass exterior doors and their large transoms, the French doors that lead to the study, the white grooved shiplap siding and the 8-foot doors and 10-foot ceilings. "I chose the double French doors for the study so that I could shut out the noise when necessary but still keep that visual connection," he says.French doors: Supa Doors
THIS is close to the "space" and short transition walls bordering the Living room and the Dining room on each side. However, maybe we just have half walls a few feet high.
