2. Allow for more casual meetings. Okay, not all offices have the real estate this one does. This impressive home office portrays savvy business acumen all around. From the darker wood paneling to the barrel vaulted ceiling, this office is all business. The key here is the seating area just past the desk area. With chairs for four, this setup is ready for some serious strategy sessions or maybe toasting a successful business deal just wrapped up.

Here's a nice office and certainly a place I wouldn't mind working in, although I probably would spend the day sitting by those doors daydreaming! The ceiling incorporates two classic design elements: a shallow barrel vault and coffering. While the coffers add structure and formality to the room, the shallow vault ensures we don't take it all too seriously.
