Monique Jacqueline Design I would agree with rebekah that it is a mosaic. It is a marble mosaic and there are many manufacturers out there in various price ranges.
Glass doors - Could you tell me what kind of concealed hinge you used on the glass inset doors? You really can't see them! I am in the midst of a remodel and my concealed hinges are pretty prominent. Thanks for your help! »
I have 2 hutches at either end of a bar area with 2 cabinets and open shelves in between. Is it OK to do tile below the upper cabinets between the hutches or should it be wood to match the hutch? thanks! »
Symmetry is often a hallmark trait of hutch-style cabinets. Here there are two cabinets with doors of equal size with a single drawer below. Hutch-style cabinets often look best as a flush inset construction, where you see the face frame around the doors as shown here. These are composed of very clean and simple shaker doors within square inset framed cabinets and very little embellishment. Even though these cabinets are framed, the hinges are concealed.
This is an amazing kitchen. It has a retro/traditional undertone with the flush inset cabinetry etc. but it combines adjacent doors/drawers together in a way that looks more modern.
