However, I don't think the roofline I now have will allow this type of renovation. Is there a way to see a plan of this house? Would that help me if I wanted to show it to a designer later this week?

Joan Becich I also have 8 foot ceilings.... a 50's ranch! I'll post a picture here soon.
My property is stunning, however, with a horse pasture and an old barn, and views of mountains all around. I am only 5 minutes from downtown Ashland Or. A farmhouse is a perfect design for this site.
