Will it look better if it touched the ground? - I think i am going to do this but I am curious if it would look better if it touched the ground...Another option i was curious about was making it actually be able to roll up? »
ttparks okk so I have done some research, and the screen in the picture seems to be a window roller shade. If you check your local blinds store like blinds-to-go you will be able to find many similar to the one in the picture. It will be quite expensive from a blinds store, so I would suggest checking your local ikea, and home depot. And be sure to bring a picture with you, so they can better assist you. Hope this information was helpful.
Feeling cramped on width space where you’d like to place the divide? A wall screen will solve that problem. Choose one in a fun shade for an enticing pop of color, slap a framed piece of artwork on it, and boom — a super chic and inexpensive divide is yours.

Hang fabric from the ceiling instead of from the wall - similar to what you were thinking! Something sheer would keep the feeling of open space as well.
Living room: Move small couch to window side & put up semi-transparent hanging between living room and dining room? Would that make the individual rooms seem too small?
