Kenorah Construction & Design Ltd The homeowners have replied that while the height of the counter is a bit high, it is very usable and allowed them to store a good sized laundry basket under the sink.

Kenorah Construction & Design Ltd The height of the counter top is approximately 40 1/2" high.
The washer and dryer are each approximately 38" high.
