Picking a paint depends on how much light your room gets, etc. I recommend going to a paint store and getting several swatches or samples and putting them up on your wall before comitting. Also a good rule of thumb is to go a shade lighter then the color your drawn to get the desired color and effect. People at a good paint store can help you, too. Good Luck!
