For the most part this room is a little too dark form me. However throw some light into the room and light up that fireplace and I may be more into it. I do like the modern look and those pendant lamps (?) are really funky. I will be making some similar lamps (if that's what they are).

The circular theme in this dining room is brilliant and every inch of this space is used for something glamourous. The chimney, the wall coverings and the amazing (and over the top, but still amazing) floating spheres give the dining area a touch of drama.

Dinner under these ethereal pendants would be fun. While the room as a whole is a little neutral-beige and heavy for my taste (I'd love to see some cleaner walls and brighter, lighter colors), the lights are amazing. I love that they're not opaque - they feel like real bubbles.

What about adding some hanging art from the ceiling above your dining room table? I think these are actually lights here but they would work just as well as an interesting part of the room even if they were just art pieces that didn't light up.
