North London House Client: Private client WINNER KBB Review Awards 2008 Bathroom Designer of the Year SHH worked with project author Zeljko Popovic on the full interior refurbishment of this landmark North London property. The 10,000 sq ft, four-storey detached property had been empty for quite a long time when its current owner purchased it in early 2005 and decided to transform its rather ordinary existing interior, bringing it to a new level - one which would match the ambition of the building's standout architecture.
herzleinmild I found some really great round mirrors that look pretty much like these at Home Depot. At that price they are a steal and you could easily recreate this look without spending a big hunk 'o money.
cgallison I agree, Cranium lets you fully customize your round bed and any of the coordinating furniture pieces you want to add to your room. If you decided to go with a round bed they offer the largest selection of round bed linens online too (or you can call..) http://www.shopcranium.com
This arrangement of mirrors (similar to one I saw in a CB2 catalog just yesterday) very literally mimics one of my favorite images: bubbles rising in a just-poured glass of champagne. It's no coincidence that we often talk of "excitement bubbling up" - that's exactly the emotion that this wall triggers.
A collection of small, round mirrors repeats the room's circle motif. Dark frames draw attention to even the smallest pieces, creating an effervescent impression.
A round bed? Get outta town! I would have been thrilled by this back in the day. And unlike other unusual-shaped beds (think boats or cars), a round one will be just as cool for high schoolers too.
Circular mirrors can look very geometric and modern, depending on how they're displayed. Here, circular mirrors of the same style — just in different sizes — are spaced out across an entire wall. The effect is dramatic, bold and modern.
Maximize the circular theme with complementary mirrors or accessories. Get the '70s vibe going with retro linens (I still have no idea where you find these linens).
