Craftsman Construction I have not built/attached the house yet, the plan is to attach a house on an angle and have the porches connect. It is located in Prince Edward Island Canada.

Craftsman Construction They are pretty close to plain black, I experimented with color and ended up using my third attempt so I am not sure the exact color anymore. I was aiming for charcoal but had to keep adding black to achieve something that matched. Hope this helps

Craftsman Construction I don't have plans but I will give my best description.
It is rough sawn lumber, 3x4" and 3x8" (actual sizes)
The brackets are 28" out and 30" down. Top pieces are spaced 19.2 on center starting directly over the bracket on each end. All cuts are 45 degree angle.

The gable is cedar shingles with a semi transparent stain and the bottom is Certainteed fiber cement siding.
