This 7,000 square foot renovation and addition maintains the graciousness and carefully-proportioned spaces of the historic 1907 home. The new construction includes a kitchen and family living area, a master bedroom suite, and a fourth floor dormer expansion. The subtle palette of materials, extensive built-in cabinetry, and careful integration of modern detailing and design, together create a fresh interpretation of the original design.

Where can I find a ceiling light fixture like this? - The ceiling light fixture seems similar to a school house fixture. I want a French look, and this seems more like it.
Thank you. »
Your floor doesn't have to be wood for the Chevron pattern to work. You can get Chevron tiles, too. I like the narrower V's in this particular tile pattern.
5. Earthy colors. The Craftsman palette pulls straight from nature. Think mossy greens, woodsy browns, deep golds and rusty oranges, brought in through the use of paint, tile and accents.

The back splash from counter top to ceiling is dramatic! I'm thinking of something similar but was concerned that it may feel claustrophobic. This looks great.
