Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. This hood looks like a wall-mounted chimney-style hood by Vent-a-Hood, which they call their Euro model. See this page: http://ventahood.com/wallmount.jsp#euro-style Vent-a-Hood only makes hoods and they do it quite well, with their "magic lung."
The hood is quite distinctive underneath, which is why I guessed it - I hope I guessed right!
Nice backsplash, by the way. :) Rhoda
Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. Microwave ovens do not need to be vented like other appliances. They do need to have adequate ventilation though. In this case, it is achieved through the bottom. This microwave can also be used on a counter top or in a mounting kit that provides ventilation around it. Most microwaves do not come with a hanging kit, so you'd need to purchase the right one from the manufacturer and you'd need to make sure that your cabinet can sustain the load. Here are the installation instructions for a similar microwave that describes the different ways the microwave can be installed. :) Rhoda

I realize there was no response to this question earlier, but I love these floors - they almost look like a burled effect, somewhat iridescent. Does anyone know what they are and how they did it? »
sharrao1 This could be Golden Select Glass and Stone Mosaic wall tile. It is available in some locations of Costco for $19.99 for 5 pieces of 12' by 12" tiles. Item # 616673. Great deal.
Like the cabinets, contrast of countertop but really don't like the color of the wood floors. Would like some glass tile but maybe not all of backsplash with glass tile.
