Vintage modern style, Miro Dvorscak - photographer
This vintage 50's dresser was repaired, painted, and had new pulls installed for a fresh updated appeal. Vintage lamp was painted, rewired, and dressed with a new shade.

Carla Aston | Interior Designer It was my grandmother's from the 50's! I would suggest looking in flea markets and antique stores that specialize in vintage 50's and 60's furniture. Thanks for your interest.
akwhite1029 Kelly - I work for a model home company in Houston. We recently used Silvi's Antiques and they did great work for a really great price. 281.597.9577 Give them a call. I know they are located somewhere out near 99 and Westheimer.
Carla Aston | Interior Designer This was about 48" W x 42"H, maybe a bit larger. Actually it was homasote board...a green product, like sheetrock but not as dense, so that you can put the pins in it. We put a little padding around it, upholstered it in a white linen, backed it with a thin plywood and used a cleat to hang it. If I remember correctly I think I had about 6-8 yds of tape trim. I would recommend that you just measure your own board for the trim by laying the tape where you want to lay the trim.
Carla Aston | Interior Designer I bought that online from a place in NY. There are lots of sources, just google Greek flokati rugs. I wrote a blog post about flokatis for some more info. http://designinthewoods.blogspot.com/2011/07/flokati-give-away.html Thanks for your interest!
