Parker Stuckey Residential Thank you for the question. The slate flooring and countertops were actually left unsealed. The client liked the feel of the natural slate and didn't want to risk changing the look. Because the stone is naturally very impenetrable, it works well. We would suggest sealing most other types of stone with a penetrating sealer. You can also use an enhancing sealer to bring out some of the more subtle colors but we always suggest testing it on a sample tile first.

Parker Stuckey Residential The blue is Sherwin Williams "Sleepy Blue." It's one of those colors that seems to change with the sun. At some points in the day, it fades to a silvery blue while other times it's a bit more vibrant. We also used it in this home's master bathroom and it looks great.
