I'm curious! What color toilet did you use in this powder room? - I admire your design. I'd like to do something similar. But, I am wondering what color toilet you chose. »
Carla Aston | Interior Designer Wall sconce is from Circa Lighting (Visual Comfort is the manufacturer) and the mosaic tile is from Walker Zanger in Houston.
I want to mimic your design but am thinking of using gray as my primary color instead of the gold/tan. Do you have a favorite shade of gray paint that you like to use? Thanks »
Carla Aston | Interior Designer So many shades to choose from! It depends on your stone counter and tile. Those are items where you have less choice, so they should be chosen first. For example if you did a carrara marble, you might go with something like SW March Wind. It's a good gray. Marble can change undertones though, so pick that first with your tile and then pick the paint.
What is the name of the stone used for the countertop and what type of stone is it? Looks like marble but not sure. Need to know "name". Love this entire update. Thanks. »
Carla Aston | Interior Designer This is a remnant and I don't remember the name of the piece we selected. I'm not even sure we knew the name, it was just a leftover piece from another job at the stone yard. Thanks for your interest.
