BeautifulRemodel.com Hi Donna, most local building codes require that the washer shut-off be accessible without removal or relocation of the appliance.
It's also for practical purposes - shutting off the washer if a hose bursts/washer is defective etc. Most local codes will allow the shutoff in an adjacent cabinet, (such as the tall cabinet in the photo) but it also needs to be located between 30" and 48" from the finished floor.
Where is the hot & cold water supply for the washer? Under the laundry sink or behind the washer? How do you access the shut offs in case a hose breaks? »
Looks great! Could you please tell the height and depth of the countertop? Thanks! - Looks great! Could you please tell the height and depth of the countertop? Thanks! »
Fits my size requirements.
Love the cabinets - would work well with existing design in the basement.
Need front loading washer.
Don't like the open space on top of cabinets.

Love this! Perfect for our laundry room sink in the middle of washer and dryer, continuous countertop, cabinets above untis and drying rod over the sink! I Really like the wood cabinets too.
