Saturated in rich, candy-colored hues and glossy surfaces, this high glamour bedroom's upholstered walls, bed cover and upholstered chairs, is wrapped in the designers' own fabric line. Designed for a chic and sensuous woman enamored with Parisian courture, the bedroom is mixed with contemporary and French inspired furniture pieces.
2007 Kip's Bay Master Bedroom: I know I have referenced this room a couple times before but this is one of my favorite Showhouse bedrooms. I love the impact of all the pink shades together.
At first glance, this room appears to be pure pink but then you begin to notice the subtleties in the coloring here. The block-based design of the footboard of this bed brings the clean lines of the De Stijl movement to the modern era, infusing the room with simplicity without making it uninteresting. The large block of art hanging above the bed adds additional texture and appeal to the bedroom space.
But if you're a die-hard honeysuckle fan, far be it from me to stop you from going whole-hog. Pantone says the hue "is encouraging and uplifting." In that case, consider this room an extra-strength mood improver.
It is said pink is a very difficult color to use as a wallccolor. But some of us feel so good surrounded with pink. Pink and rose colors affect my deeply. It makes me happy every time see designers dare take on this diffucult challenge instead of using white , beige or gray.
And look to color therapy!

Take a look at this too-pink room. Now imagine if the bed and curtains were another color and there was only a single accent wall of pink. Powerful without overdoing it!
This room came up in a Houzz search for "glamour." I wonder, is pink synonymous with glamour for the owner? It was, definitely, for me as a little girl, though I preferred a frillier look than shown here.
Over the top but luxurious, this tone on tone ladies bedroom is feminine and sophisticated. The dark wood furniture, the contemporary art and simple bedding keeps the room from feeling frilly or girly.
Or maybe this is the minimalist little girl's dream bed. I love the clean lines combined with a crazy color. On one hand, it's over the top, but on the other, it's perfectly simple and tailored. Great combination.
