Eco-Chic Bedroom

From the rapidly renewable just artwork to the the tufted hemp bed, this eco-chic bedroom is beautiful and earth friendly. The wood furniture is fabricated from Forest Stewardship Council-certified woods, the fabrics are from natural, rapidly renewable sources (flax, wool, jute)—and all of the materials are biodegradable and secured with nontoxic, water-based glue.

Becky Lane-Griffin There is a bed from Z Gallerie called the Victoria Sleigh Bed. It looks exactly like this bed. It's not just a headboard, it's an entire bed.

Jennifer St.Clair this can be purchased from restoration hardware as well. it is called the chesterfield. as the chesterfield is also a style of chair and couch. good luck with your find! this is gorgeous. i have one on order. it will be 7 mos. waiting by the time i get it...but worth the wait. fabric i chose is backordered. the rest are in stock and ready to ship.

I like taking the wool off of the floor and putting it into other parts of the room. Here we have a bed with sheets and blankets made from a variety of natural, biodegradable materials including wool.

The materials that are used in this room are all natural materials from the hemp bed to the certified-wood furniture. However, what I really love about this bedroom is how the decor itself really just sends a green message. The coloring of the room and the pieces in it combined with the natural beauty of the artwork really drives home the message that this is a peaceful, earth-loving home.
