This kitchen, compared with the bathroom above, really shows off green's diversity. This pretty pale color sets a calm tone in the kitchen, so different from the intense energy of the bath. It's not boring, though - imagine the wall as beige or even blue. It wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

I think this cool mint tile arrangement is so pretty and I love how it's extended all along the wall. With different decor, it could trickle into "country" territory, but the addition of the Bertoia-style wire chairs modernizes the overall look.
