I like this space for its use and placement of low costing crates that are hung off the floor. The wall placement will allow a small space to feel larger while creating useable storage. Great for a beach house, mudroom, artists room. I think it will also look great whitewashed or distressed using nautical colors.

This hallway storage is really cool on a lot of levels, but what I like best about it is the inclusion of the shoes. You don't expect to see shoe storage at eye level, but there they are. Funny, and so functional, too.

Creative solutions can create grand statements like these storage bins. Simple, stylish and very functional. The dimension of these boxes makes perfect bookends and the shoes are a nice touch. I can see this working nicely for a mudroom OR a weekend retreat.
