When my husband was a child, he collected comic books - which have been sitting in boxes at his parents home (in the garage). They have just made their way to our house. Can anyone here suggest a way to display this collection? There are probably a few thousand - all in great condition in plastic (mylar) bags. Would love hear suggestions or see storage casings that display comic books. Thanks. »
Jill Asher So I think we have found a solution. We have an old "farmers cabinet" that we used for "extra storage". Last night, we cleared it out and are beginning to organize a few thousand comic books in there. We are tagging them first in an online catalog and will then organize them by series. There are four of us (kids included) working on this project.
I promise to upload and share pictures once this is done.
Wow... what a BIG and SURPRISING project! My husband use to collect comic books as a kid and has basically "forgotten" about it for thirty years. What a find! :)
This hallway storage is really cool on a lot of levels, but what I like best about it is the inclusion of the shoes. You don't expect to see shoe storage at eye level, but there they are. Funny, and so functional, too.
Awesome… you can probably get them next to free and depending on the theme you can use different crates… ie wine crates for wine enthusiast or fruits for a French country theme … etc. sky's the limit
