This type of clawfoot tub is called a slipper tub. As you can see, one side is raised like a chaise lounge so you can truly lounge in the bath. I don't think it would matter what you do to design around this type of tub because it's such a great piece that you really can't go wrong!

This bathroom is great for several reasons, not the least of which is that fantastic blue tub. Elle Decor has recently noted that the standalone tub has really come into its own lately - they're right.

And where better to stick a tub than right under a big (but private) window? It's the next best thing to actually being outside.
