I know. We can't get over this kitchen, can we? Because the kitchen is a place where we create and connect, we should FEEL creative and connected TO it. So many details about this photo exhibit personal care and thought. Accumulate details that you love--such as the chandelier, the bunny, the cake stands, the fridge here. Go bold with color. Think what this room would look like in all white (ok still great but not the same). The floor shows that nothing from head to foot is unnoticed. This look can even be painted on the bare bones of a stripped, treated floor, even concrete.

I love the tone of the blue and green in this room. They're so similar - quiet colors, but deep.

I know we all seem to mark this photo as a favorite, but I wanted to make sure I had a good example of how well green and blue work together in this ideabook.

An efficient kitchen need not be large to produce amazing food--and amazing aesthetic. I adore this space. The old fridge. The nostalgic flooring. The white popping out visually from the green and black. The table provides for a classy buffet or dinner setting, but also appears to be very much a working table. Child herself liked the serve her meals at her table in her kitchen. The essentials, from the toaster oven to the serving platters, are within easy reach and view, but don't clutter or obstruct. And the chandelier, ah, the magic touch of the chandelier.

This kitchen would be cool even if the shelves simply held a bunch of white dishware. But they don't - and that's even better. In terms of personalization, that little bunny on the top shelf is worth its weight in gold.

Another kitchen, another shade of green. I love how this teal works with the deep blue cabinets and blue and white floor. White accessories and fixtures keep the colors from looking too intense - the whole effect is really cool.

At first glance, this room looks pretty traditional. It's pretty, but not crazy - until you look closer, and see the little guy sitting on top of the shelves. I love hidden touches like this - they're even funnier because they're not so in your face.

Gorgeous kitchen. The secret here is the color scheme. White pulls the entire space together and green and blue add spark and a fun air. I love the vintage fridge, Mr. Bunny sitting up there and the fact that most items are probably very cheap but look cozy and stylish.

GREEN AND MARINE. In this favorite houzz photo, this cooler green provides a background for the stark white silhouettes throughout this kitchen. The room is softened by the table and chairs, and given great balance with the dark cabinetry and flooring, which would be beautiful as black or marine blue.

And speaking of green rooms with painted floors, this kitchen boasts an unusual color palette with deep green walls and dark blue cabinetry. The floor follows the lead of these colors and is painted a deep blue along with a bright white. Add the large white chandelier and vintage style refrigerator and this becomes a space full of unique style.
