I would recommend yellow. It can be bright and sunny yellow, or a more muted version, but the punch of yellow along with these ocean inspired colors would look great. :)
This is actually the office kitchen at Drew Barrymore's Flower Films production company, so no stove necessary. The photo is from an old issue of Domino, and the designer is Ruthie Sommers.
Taking out the brand new stainless steel refrigerator from your kitchen and adding a smaller, less effective vintage refrigerator and calling it an "ice box" is a purely hipster move.
I love pictures of any small spaces that is good design. This is a clever design ,the restriction of colors. Without the white details this would be dark.
The colors are so muted and relaxing. I am crazy over the floors and the fridge! Open shelving, white features, and wood countertops are also great. To top it off, the pastries are nice and appetizing. ; )
I love these colors! That green and that blue mixed with the white accents...I'm considering it for my kitchen, but it'll have to mesh with some red/orange pieces
And speaking of green rooms with painted floors, this kitchen boasts an unusual color palette with deep green walls and dark blue cabinetry. The floor follows the lead of these colors and is painted a deep blue along with a bright white. Add the large white chandelier and vintage style refrigerator and this becomes a space full of unique style.
Like the bold color combo with enough white to soften. open shelves with white dishes are fabulous. Shelves same color as wall disappear and the dishes take the forefront. Like it.
