Fantastic Mid Century Modern Mastercraft work of art! This table is large, in charge, and absolutely makes a real statement. The coffee table itself was kept in a garage for a number of years before we got our hands on it, and there is tarnishing as well as some pitting on the brass. The table is about a 7/10 maybe a 6/10 (depending on your standards)-- 10 being perfect condition. The thing about these pieces is that they really adopt the feel of the space, so even though this piece may not be perfect, it has a ton of character and a certain appeal that only a well loved aged piece with patina can bring to a party. The table also has some light scratches on top. All in all, in a sexy Hollywood Regency home with a hot chesterfield or low profile sofa-- this piece would look amazing. The seller says: "Personally, I don't buy items i don't love-- and after seeing other examples of this same table online without the age spots and patina-- I think this one is far more handsome... kind of like George Clooney today versus back when he was on Facts Of Life. Some things just look better with a little age."
