very similar, except our cabinets are not as deep, so the top of the hood to the cabinets would form the shelf. no legs either as we don't have room.

i want the skinny cabinets on each side of the stovetop for spices but make sure theres still countertop surface in front of these cabinets. In other words, i dont want the cabinets to enclose the space. I like it to feel open!
