thank you! Really appreciate this. A few more questions. Are baby tears easier to grow then thyme? Do they creep fast and like the sun. I have a relatively large area to cover. Also the fern is called foxtail but then I have a different variety with me. Would you know the scientific name?

Asparagus densiflorus ‘Myers’ is the botanical name for Foxtail Fern. Baby's Tears does better in part shade to full shade. The various ground cover thymes are better suited for full sun areas.

4. Baby tears (Soleirolia soleirolii), USDA zones 9-11. Baby tears is a little more lush than creeping thyme and looks a bit like moss. It blossoms with beautiful white flowers in the spring and like thyme, grows close to the ground. It grows quickly in a sun-to-shade environment and requires much more water than creeping thyme or elfin thyme.
