To me, the ideal artist's studio has direct access to an outdoor space that would also be used for making art. In good weather, this outdoor area could serve as a place to paint, throw pottery, what have you; a connection to nature and the elements is important in making art. The retractable doors of this garage/shed make this building perfect for working indoors and out.
