These are 6" square French Terracotta "Tomettes" from the Provence region installed with a reclaimed barn oak pickets from Pennsylvania in a kitchen in Charlotte, NC.

Vintage Elements LLC Yes, without a problem. Call or email us and I will give you detailed installation instructions. Terracotta is perfect for hydronic and electric radiant heat with its large thermal mass. Once heated it slowly and evenly releases the warmth into the house.

Vintage Elements After sealing the floor with our sealing oil it is finished with a liquid wax. The wax application can be repeated as often as you like and will slowly close up all crevices and holes. The wax layer is easily cleaned and can be rebuffed once it loses it's sheen. Most of our customers buff it once a year with a small floor buffer. Some customers also prefer to reapply the liquid wax rather than buffing. The wax layer will hold up several years.
