Anne DeCocco We want you to get answers to your questions! Make sure you post a picture with the question when appropriate and possible--it helps make it stand out.
DIVA INTERIOR CONCEPTS Yes, the above answer is correct (painters tape & paint) but only if the wall has no texture and is flat plaster drywall. If the wall has texture, put a small amount of caulking around the tape for a clean paint edge. Otherwise, when you pull the tape off the square will have jagged edging.
Can you please provide photos of the other walls of the room? I would like to implement this design (soccer instead of tennis) but curious how rest of rom and walls look and are laid out. Thank you! »
contemporganic here are some photos of the soccer themed bedroom for a teen...plus some extra shots of other wall features...feature wall colors selected based on boy's favorite team.
umpa Thanks for posting this contemporganic. I love how you displayed the medals. is the blue and red wall the accent wall and all the rest on the walls are cream/white?
DIVA INTERIOR CONCEPTS I found these colors at Dunn Edwards paint. It is a deep chocolate brown. I do not have the paint color number but I am sure if you visit the store you can locate the color swatch. Thanks:)
Tennis-ball green looks great with chocolate brown, and the oversized tennis ball throw pillows add a playfulness to the bedscape. Even if you don't want to go this deep into a theme, the color palette may inspire you.
The Athlete. This tennis-inspired room takes focus and determination to another level. If you are raising a champion, then allow him to display his accomplishments along with other inspiration items that help him to strengthen his mind, too.
To create a one-color scheme, start with a great neutral. This charcoal-gray room is a great backdrop for tennis-ball yellow. The warmth of the yellow-green plays (ha!) perfectly with the neutral gray tone, showing off the playfulness. I say "aces!"
16. If you're going to do a themed room for your teen or tween, it's best to keep it simple. This tennis-inspired room can easily be transformed into a guest room after college graduation with just a little paint.
For the tennis player, replicating tennis balls as bed pillows is a fun way to incorporate a favorite interest into the decor. Soccer, volleyball and basketball fans can get the look as well.
I love all the furniture and colors that perfectly compliment each other. I'm a tennis enthusiast so I love the theme of tennis balls in the room which is innovative.
