Austin Interior Renovations & Statewide Remodeling Austin Interior Renovations would be happy to build this bed for you. The wood looks like rift cut oak with a white wash finish. We recently made some pieces for a condo in Austin.
Perfect example of serene. Sure, the bed is gorgeous; however, the obvious star here is the view. If the scene outside happened to be power lines and community mailboxes, perhaps something more attention-hogging would work. Like a platform with magenta elephants painted on it. Just kidding, I meant magenta dinosaurs.
In the bedroom, simplicity equally reigns. Neutrals create a quiet and consistent palette throughout. The window walls are framed with an understated light hue. And one signature piece overhead gives the space added individuality.
Let's begin with the antler chandelier. This one was the most surprising of all to me; I can't get over how harmonious the furnishings in this glass box room are. Who knew the answer to "What light fixture goes with a minimal platform bed, a Nelson bench, and an Eames chair" would be "A rustic antler chandelier of course!" I think it works because it connects something inside the room to the expansive view of nature beyond. What do you think?
The floating bed design is ideal for minimalist rooms, as it appears visually lighter due to space beneath the bed and the lack of headboard. This allows the statement pieces of a room, like this antler chandelier, to take center stage.

I like the windows wrapping the whole way around the bedroom. Also I like how low the bed is and how much space there is between the foot of the bed and the window.
