Crisp Architects This was something we designed for the kitchen which has a special unit in the basement which greatly increases the cfm. I feel most standard units are not able to pull down enough of the smoke when pulling from the counter top. The unit we used, augmented the pop up vent on the back of the stove. We used a mechanical engineer to design the system. I suggest you do the same since every condition is different.
