A diagonal design for this rustic powder room creates more interest. A combination of deeply glazed walls, old tin, and reclaimed woods create an eccletic effect.
reclaimed wood - Where were you able to find the reclaimed wood framed mirror, and wood slap for counter topo, and what is your sink bowl made out of? You did a beautiful job on the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Rebekah »
traciwoodruff Kathryn,
I love the mirror. I need to hang a corner mirror in a powder room. Can you tell me how it is attached; wall brackets or from the ceiling? I can't tell. Thanks!
Kathryn Long, ASID The bathroom walls are done in a decorative technique done by Spirit of Decor. It requires many layers of paint to achieve, so it isn't really any one color.
In the Spirit of Decor Hi Krysta
I created a distressed/coppery patina look on the walls with metallic glazes and waxes.....and I created the distressed wood look on the counter top and chairrails with a texture paste ---sanded and glazed. If you'd like more info on my work, please look at my profile page and contact me there...
Thanks
