While I don't know the exact dimensions, I can tell you that my contractor and structural engineer determined which beams needed to be supportive due to so many walls that I had removed. Once the support beams were in place, I had my contractor and plasterer plaster/frame the new beams and then add more "fake ones" to mimic the structural ones, creating a grid for more symmetry.

duroc How to keep grout clean over the stove? I cook a lot of sauces that splatter up on the wall above my stove. We're remodeling, and I love tile, but I am afraid the grout will get stained! Do the new grouts help prevent staining? Can you scrub it, if there's a stain? Suggestions? Thanks!

duroc I visited a showroom, and maybe it was just bad luck, but the honed Caesarstone showed scratches. Do you think this is common? Or just the unlucky piece that I happened upon? Thanks!
