keithmoondaddy thank you for your reply and help. are the standard lever handle ball valves readily available at local hardware stores? i'm fairly inexperienced in purchasing plumbing parts. also, is there a way to finish an old chrome shower head and arm to withstand the weather outdoors, and closely resemble copper patina? thanks again!
Copper shower head - Hi - LOVE the shower! We are desperately looking for a rustic copper shower head (not pink, not rose gold but old copper like an outdoor tap). Anyone have any ideas where I might source? We are in Australia.
Kind regards - Lanie »
Schmitt + Company I made all the piping and valves from off the shelf parts but purchased the shower head from somewhere I can't remember. It's a rian shower head but soft brushed nickel.
I love the wood on the floors - I would love to use wood on the floors of the shower, but what kind of wood is it and what is used as the protectant? »
4. Major plumbing. Two words: water damage. You can probably install a new faucet, a showerhead or even a toilet, but when it comes to the bigger stuff, pro is the way to go. Pipe connections and other trouble spots can spring leaks that may cost you dearly in the long run. Here's a good rule of thumb: If it involves work behind the walls, don't try to handle it on your own.
