curtains on track - Hi! Very cute idea, I'd like to adopt this to conceal litter boxes in the laundry room while allowing kitties (and us for cleaning) unfettered access to the boxes. :) Can you please tell me where you obtained the curtains and the track? Thanks so much. »
Hydrangea Home Hi, the "curtains" are just simple painter's drop cloth. They were washed and dried with fabric softener after they were cut to fit. I don't care for sewing so I just folded them over at the top (I thought that added a nice detail). They are hung on a simple tension rod with sliding ring/clips all from the window treatment department at Target. You can see more details on my blog here:

mrscmjenkins super, thanks for letting me know how you hung them, I thought you had a curtain track installed under there. :) appreciate the help and your blog link! cheers!
Wood Counter - I love what you did here and in the process of renovating my laundry room . My contractor has a technical question. Is the wood countertop above the washer and dryer removable? How do you access the dryer vent and water valves? »
Hydrangea Home Hi, The valves are actually above the counter to the left corner above washer. It is hidden by a planter. I hate looking at those things! And the dryer vent is accessible under the sink. My husband just made a half wall on the right side of the dryer. Besides that, the dryer is very light and can easily slide out if needed. Hope that helps. Good luck with your project!
