Lincoln Street, Wayland contemporary entry

Lincoln Street, Wayland

The entry to the renovated home has a long, low arched natural wood canopy. To the left of the entry is a tall narrow, reversed shed roof. The siding is divided into 2 layers. The upper layer is board and batten. The lower layer is rough cut cedar shakes. Although they are painted the same color, they appear different due to the different rates of paint absorption. The colors were picked to recess the home into the environment and let the setting stand out.
