Custom Home Planning Center Using a large grit sand paper to create horizontal striations on the poll would also be a possible solution.

Abriga Design LLC The results on the finish would be difficult to keep at the high level of that finish using sand paper. Interesting idea, but I don't think it would solve the problem, which seems to be the heavy head of the hand shower having too high a moment (means the weight at the end causes more pressure on the place to which it's attached than the attachment can reliably hold, especially if jiggled.

Anyone else have a solution other than mine (additional holder placed out of the way)?
