Dresser Homes The fireplace is, in fact, a prefab wood-buring unit. I purchased it from Isokern here in Atlanta. Isokern is best known for their masonry fireplaces but they do sell prefab units as well. I don't recall the exact manufacturer of this unit, but you could probably find out from Isokern. I think they only carry one line of prefab units.

Dresser Homes The ceiling height in the room is 10'. The mouding over the cased opening (as well as the windows) is a 1x8 with a small cap mould on top. Hope this helps.
