A smaller chair lets a work space integrate smoothly into a multi-purpose room, and can easily be moved for other purposes. For a long time, the chair at my small traditional writing desk coordinated with the chrome and white dining room chairs for the easy addition of a guest.

Kill those vampires! No, not the ones in Twilight. Vampire appliances are those that suck energy even when you're not using them. Just turn off your computer at night, and be sure to unplug your cell phone charger when you're not using it. Every little bit makes a difference!
3. Invest in a decent wall unit. Storage really is important, so if you're going to make one big purchase, make it a unit that combines aesthetics with space.
5. Perfectly organized offices. I think this ties in with cool storage - we're all looking for an office that's as organized as a first-day-of-school Trapper Keeper.
Another way to give your home office more of a "home" feel and less of an "office" vibe is by adding a feature that isn't expected...like this great window seat. A fab chandelier never hurts either!
