A small dated bungalow is given a contemporary update. New espresso cabinetry for CD, Video and Electronics storage was added along with a new gas fireplace surrounded by stainless steel tile.

Who makes the fireplace? And do you know how high the bottom of tv is - Thank you! We are trying to put TV over gas fireplace but don't want to have TV too high--probably max 40" off floor. Any suggestions for gas fireplaces that would allow this are welcome!

Hi Susieq422
Thank you for your inquiry. The fireplace in this photo is Napoleon Natural Gas Model GD 33NR. It is the equivalent to a builders model. Regarding the height of the TV, it is 44" from the floor to the bottom of this tv and is a very comfortable viewing height. If you refer back to one of my posts/discussions I have provided a few pictures of a few other fireplaces (linear) that work perfectly with the tv over the fireplace scenario. Here is the link. .

Susieq422 I am not sure where you reside but I am in Pickering, Ont. Canada. If you are in the area, I could provide you with a few of my suppliers. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Happy First Day of Spring

low fireplace, lower than usual mantle allows TV to sit lower for better viewing height. Like idea of carrying millwork to match our recessed cabinet to our left of TV/fireplace around wall to other side.
