Chestnut Bowl artwork

What Houzz contributors are saying:

This one can stand up on its own, showing off its interior glaze. It can also be placed flat with its spiny back in the air, or face up, with its glazed interior on display from above.

Chestnut Bowl

Modern and inspired by nature, this piece is one of my favorite new creations! Inspired by chestnut pods, it's new texture compliments other bowls in my collection nicely. (It especially looks great with an urchin bowl or two!) Perfect to hold jewelry and other small items or for use as a votive holder.

Each one is handmade and thus totally unique, but on average, they measure approximately 7" in diameter x 2" tall. Durable enough for every day use, yet striking enough as a stand alone sculptural piece.

Made of high fired porcelain, it's unglazed on the outside and has a translucent green interior that pools and crackles in the middle.
