Fireplace - Electric or Gas - Hi,
Is this an Electric fireplace ? It looks really good. I have been shopping for Gas fireplaces as I found the electric ones very unattractive... If this is indeed an electric one can you please tell me where you bought it. Im in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Thanks for your response »
We're about to build. Tasked w/fireplace design selection.... - I really like what you did here. Can you share please:
a) Dimensions of this design
b) Will it work w/propane gas as well...that's what is available in our location.
c) if the fireplace system itself impacts replication....please share too.
d) We live in S. Indiana - "walnut tree country". I love this wood. Wanted to use on my floors - put want a dark (espresso) type stain - as you did here on my fireplace. Please let me know how the dark finish was accomplished. Thanks....(Sorry for so many questions!) »
Very nicely done fireplace! Love the walnut surround, particularly stain! - Can you tell me pls.....what (stone?) is the cream colored insert? Thank you. »
Fireplace - Hi Lisa - what brand is the fireplace? What is the size (width)? We are looking for a linear fireplace but plan to put a TV over it vs artwork. It's an informal great room. »
Erika Ward: This living room has countless seating options but doesn't feel the least bit crowded.
Lisa Ferguson: The custom loveseat was designed with a very shallow depth in order to get maximum seating in a room for entertaining. Two square ottomans, opposed to just one, allows for great flexibility and were designed with a tight tufted top for easy placement of drinks on trays.
If can't do marble ($$$)....I really like this walnut fireplace surround. I would make the inset the marble (if really have to cut costs....can use large marble tiles.
