Organized Spaces We don't set up the lighting but i know what i like to see in a closet that is narrow in shape.
I like the fixtures about 30" from the end and side walls so there is enough space for the light to get down to the bottom of the space. if light is too tight to the walls the lower items are in shadows.
This all depends on the type of lighting, the ceiling height, and the type of closet system you have selected. Led lighting can be incorporated into the trim or the actual hanging bar in closets now so almost anything is possible.

Organized Spaces Yes your are right - 22.5 feet, still plenty of closet to work with.

Organized Spaces closet material can be white laminate which can be cleaned by anything but an abrasive cleaner with zero maintenance. a wood finish that is white would be like cleaning a painted door in your house, simply household cleaners or a damp rag. no maintenance there either.
there isn't any maintenance for either finish.
