Anybody can paint a striped room (even if it does require some patience - I speak from experience!) These colors are perfect, too. They'd each be cool alone, but together the tiny nook is captivating, but somehow still fairly neutral. Plus, check out the rug - it's great and an amazing alternative to a safe, plain rug.
This charming Hamptons mudroom brings beachside chic and pin-neat order to a high-traffic space. The built-in cubbies and storage drawers are a great way to keep each family member's belongings organized, while the fresh, minimal white-and-green color scheme cuts down on visual chaos as well. The bold rug is both a soft touch for bare feet and a pop of graphic interest.
What a fun entryway! This is one of my favorites because of how colors are matched and how the space is efficiently used. The cubicles are a wonderful addition for keeping things in order and the small sitting area is perfect for visitors. I also love the animal print rug and how it matches perfectly with the striped wall painting even though they are both very different in color and shape.
8. Don't neglect design, even in a mudroom. While this is a room where you can shed all of your things, the lovely bench storage, light fixture stripes, and giraffe rug give this casual entryway mad style.
The mud room does not have to be traditional. A funky light fixture, striped wall paint, and a bold graphic rug transform the basic mud room components into a modern-looking space.
