Buckets of Burlap The cost of this reclaimed barnwood headboard was $0...we retrieved the wood from an old shack on a farm. We had wood and screws to put it together. Nothing like re-purposing :)

Antique Beams & Boards Absolutely, we hold anything from gray siding, to old board that looks like that. Or, IF we do not hold something like that, we could always make it look like that. rcstout You could run 1X4's along the back of the headboard and mount it directly to the wall. It will stay firm and not creak or rattle when you move around in the bed. Also, it makes it easier to move the bed away from the wall to clean under.
